BLAYNEY HAY BALE ART CHALLENGE – MAP AND LOCATIONS REVEALED
Take a country drive in the Blayney Shire for the second annual Blayney Hay Bale Art Challenge now on until 3 April to coincide with the NAB B2B Cycling Festival. Thousands of visitors are expected to be attracted by the amazing hay bale artworks along the cycling route. Fairytales, movie themes and good old-fashioned bikes and Aussie culture are the highlights of this year’s event with imagination, humour and creativity display.
The region’s answer to the Tour de France with amazing artistic displays from property owners, residents and community groups, the hay bale sculptures are a key attraction for locals and visitors who came to the area to explore the picturesque rural landscape and historic villages of the Blayney Shire.
Blayney Shire Mayor, Scott Ferguson and Blayney Town Association representative, Tom Miller had a difficult task choosing the winners and decided to award many highly commended awards for the efforts, design and originality displayed in the entries.
The People’s Choice award winner and Facebook selfie competition winner will receive local business vouchers from Blayney Newsagency, CRT Hill & Croft, Nellie Ryan’s and Newmans Fuel Services. Please visit the Blayney Shire Council Facebook page for details on how to enter or view the T&Cs here
