Road safety improvements for Adelaide and Martha Streets, Blayney

The NSW Government is providing $2.3 million to improve road safety on the Mid Western Highway in Blayney.

You’re invited to a Drop-in session view plans and discuss the project with Roads and Maritime Services

Members of the community are invited to drop in and view the plans to improve the Adelaide and Martha Street curve and the Hobbys Yards Road intersection in Blayney.

The work includes realigning and re-grading the curve on Adelaide and Martha Street, improvements at the Hobbys Yards Road intersection and drainage improvements including new kerb and gutter.

The project will help improve safety for all road users and increase the efficiency of the road network. The NSW Government is providing $2.3 million for the project.
Work is expected to start in March 2018 and finish in June 2018, weather permitting.

An information drop in session will be held at the Blayney Shire Community Centre, 41 Church Street Blayney, on Friday 15 December from 11am to 2pm.  The design can also be downloaded here.

The drop in session will provide an informal opportunity to discuss the project, upcoming work and any queries with Roads and Maritime Services project representatives.
