Council has an abundance of information available for public access including public registers, plans and strategies, business papers, policies and procedures, and reports. Council information not on its website may also be accessible by lodgement of an application.

Blayney Shire Council maintains and manages several cemeteries with downloadable aerial maps of all cemeteries available.

Owners may apply to Council seeking to alter an existing street address number. Fees are applicable in accordance with Council’s Fees and Charges as determined by council annually. All requests for altered street numbering must be submitted in writing on the required form, with payment made at time of application.

Blayney Shire Council in conjunction with Cabonne Council and Central Tablelands Water developed a consistent set of Civil Design Guidelines and Civil Design Drawings for the design of engineering works within the Blayney Shire Council Local Government Area.

Blayney Shire Council provides grants for local community organisations and businesses. Each year there are 2 rounds of funding with applications called in June and November. Applications are assessed by a committee and recommendations are then endorsed by Council.

National Youth Week

A member of the public can address a Council meeting personally, on behalf of a group of residents or on any issue to be considered by Council. Forms must be submitted to Council no later than 4.00pm on the day of the Council Meeting.

The Tourism Development Program provides support to both not-for-profit entities and local businesses to host events aimed to promote to grow the visitor economy in the Blayney Shire.
