CentrePoint Re-opening after COVID-19 Closure

With COVID-19 regulations there are a few things to consider with each of the facilities within CentrePoint. Please read the following information carefully.
- Do not visit if you are unwell or have flu-like symptoms or have had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case
- All users are required to complete the COVID-19 register on arrival in all areas
- We encourage all users to change, shower and use the toilet at home
- Bring your own towel and water bottle, no towel no train
- Ensure adequate hand hygiene, hand sanitiser stations will be available for use
We will be launching with a Grand Opening of the Pool at 12:30pm on Friday 19 June, please note:
- Open from;
 6am – 10am and 3pm – 6pm Weekdays
 9am – 1pm Saturday and Sunday
- Limited to 100 people
- No pre-bookings required
- Users are required to use the pre-swim showers
- Aqua classes from Monday 22 June
From 1 August there will be no unsupervised access and the gym will be open for the following hours
- Monday - Friday 5am - 8pm

- Saturday & Sunday 9am - 1pm

- Limited to 20 people
- Users are required to check the number of people inside the gym and are not to enter if the gym is at capacity
- Usage will be monitored
- No pre-bookings required
- Users are to clean all gym equipment before and after use
- Free entry until 1 July 2020, users who do not have an entry toggle will need to collect one during staffed hours and complete gym induction (6am – 10am and 3pm – 6pm Weekdays and 9am – 12pm Weekends)
Group fitness classes will recommence on Monday 22 June (including aqua)

- No shows to class will forfeit their next booking

CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre

Just one block west of the main street, come and discover the great facilities available to our residents and to visitors to the Blayney Shire. Have a dip in one of our 3 indoor, heated pools, step out on our treadmills, cycle on our bikes, have a row or lift some weights in our gymnasium. Or simply come and talk to one of our qualified personal trainers today and have them design a program to cater to your needs and fitness goals.

CentrePoint also offers  a full group fitness timetable with a range of different classes, together with the Austswim accredited swim school which operates all year round. The swim school includes classes for Mums and Bubs through to Adults as well as squad training. 

The CentrePoint gymnasium offers extended hours access with entry from 4:30am - 11pm 365 days of the year. All gym users need to be inducted by CentrePoint staff prior to use. 

CentrePoint Rules

1. Children under the age of 12 MUST be under the supervision of a responsible person who is 16

     years or older

2. Patrons unable to swim must be accompanied by a responsible guardian at all times in the pool area

3. All patrons must comply with any requests and/or directions given by Centre staff, failure to do so

    will result in exclusion from the Centre

4. Any patrons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from the Centre

5. Offensive behaviour and/or language are not permitted

6. Persons suffering from skin conditions, gastric infections or infectious disease must not enter the


7. CentrePoint Sport & Leisure accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings. Patrons are

    advised not to bring valuables into the Centre
