Public Hearing - McPhillamys Gold Project

A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, 8 December 2022 and Friday, 9 December 2022 to hear directly from community members. This Public Hearing will be held at Blayney Shire Community Centre with registered speakers presenting to the Commission Panel either in person or via video conference.

How to Register to Speak

If you wish to apply to speak at the Public Hearing, you must complete the online registration form by no later than 5pm AEDT on Friday, 2 December 2022. Registered speakers will be provided information on how to join the meeting and technical assistance available to help them prepare for the meeting.

How to Watch the Public Hearing

This Public Hearing will be livestreamed on the Commission’s website: www.ipcn.nsw.gov.au/livestream. In the interests of openness and transparency, the NSW Independent Planning Commission will also publish a transcript of the Public Hearing on the Commission’s website.

Written Submissions

If you want to have your say on this project but cannot take part in the Public Hearing, you can submit your comments in writing to the Commission up to one week (seven days) after the Public Hearing via the online portal: www.ipcn.nsw.gov.au/have-your-say

The deadline for written submissions is 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 21 December  2022.
