Council Office 

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Blayney Shire Council encourages residents to make an appointment for all enquiries. This includes paying rates, JPs, planning advice etc. 

This supports our ability to safely manage the number of people in the front area of Council. We currently have a limit of 2x persons allowed in the front area of Council at the same time. If there is a person in front of you please wait outside and ensure social distancing.

Blayney Waste Facility

Blayney Waste Facility is open however the re-use facility is closed. Please remember that the waste facility is EFTPOS Only. Waste collection is as per normal.

Campgrounds Open 

Campgrounds in Blayney Shire are now open. As per NSW Government regulations, all overnight visitors are required to register their details with Blayney Shire Council. Visitors can register here.

This is for Carcoar Dam, Lyndhurst Primitive Campground and Newbridge Showground.

All visitors are required to abide by COVID-19 regulations in regards to public gatherings, social distancing and hygiene practices.

Junction Reefs and Bakers Shaft Reserve are open for day visitors only.

CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre

CentrePoint will be re-opening with FREE ENTRY to all users until 1 July 2020!

With COVID-19 regulations there are a few things to consider with each of the facilities within CentrePoint. Please read the following information carefully.
- Do not visit if you are unwell or have flu-like symptoms or have had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case
- All users are required to complete the COVID-19 register on arrival in all areas
- We encourage all users to change, shower and use the toilet at home
- Bring your own towel and water bottle, no towel no train
- Ensure adequate hand hygiene, hand sanitiser stations will be available for use
We will be launching with a Grand Opening of the Pool at 12:30pm on Friday 19 June, please note:
- Open from;
 6am – 10am and 3pm – 6pm Weekdays
 9am – 12pm Saturday and Sunday
- Limited to 100 people
- No pre-bookings required
- Users are required to use the pre-swim showers
- Aqua classes from Monday 22 June
The gym will reopen on Saturday 20 June, please note:
- Unsupervised access 4:30am – 11pm everyday
- Limited to 20 people
- Users are required to check the number of people inside the gym and are not to enter if the gym is at capacity
- Usage will be monitored
- No pre-bookings required
- Users are to clean all gym equipment before and after use
- Free entry until 1 July 2020, users who do not have an entry toggle will need to collect one during staffed hours and complete gym induction (6am – 10am and 3pm – 6pm Weekdays and 9am – 12pm Weekends)
Group fitness classes will recommence on Monday 22 June (including aqua)
- Limited to 20 people per class (excluding instructor)
- Bookings required: Call 6368 2544 or Text 0428 730 816
- No booking, no entry
- No shows to class will forfeit their next booking
- New class timetable will be announced shortly
- Encouraged to bring your own yoga mat
