Blayney ready to grow with new residential land for sale

It has been almost a decade since the Blayney township has had new residential blocks available for home construction.  With the release of Streatfeild Close land development, 14 new residential blocks close to King George Oval, Schools and town centre ready for house construction.

The sale of the blocks will provide greater housing opportunities for both current and future residents to build their dream home on affordable parcels of land right near the centre of town.

Blayney Shire Mayor Scott Ferguson said Council has been proactive in considering and taking the lead on facilitating the town to grow. “It’s been a long time since we have had residential development available in Blayney and given the strong demand for residential blocks there should be a lot of interest in the new estate.”

The blocks are located just 1km from the main street and even closer to schools providing the perfect location for new homeowners.

“Blayney is a great place to live and we are excited to provide more people with the opportunity to build a home and be part of a rural and family friendly community” said Cr Ferguson.
The naming of the street was put to public vote in March this year with Streatfeild Close been the most popular named after Cr George Streatfeild who was Mayor of the former Lyndhurst Shire Council from 1905 – 1911.
