Blayney ready to grow with new residential land for sale

It has been almost a decade since the Blayney township has had new residential blocks available for home construction.  With the completion of Streatfeild Close land development, 14 new residential blocks close to King George Oval, schools and town centre were released for house construction.

Blayney Shire Mayor Scott Ferguson said Council has been proactive in considering and taking the lead on facilitating the town to grow. “It’s been a long time since we have had residential development available in Blayney and with 13 of the 14 blocks already sold shows the level of interest there is in Blayney.”

The blocks located just 1km from the main street and even closer to schools provide the perfect location for new homeowners.

“Blayney is a great place to live and we are excited to provide more people with the opportunity to build a home and be part of a rural and family friendly community” said Cr Ferguson.

The naming of the street was put to public vote in March 2019 with Streatfeild Close been the most popular named after Cr George Streatfeild who was Mayor of the former Lyndhurst Shire Council from 1905 – 1911.

Local real estate agents were appointed joint sales agents for land release enquiries and included Blayney Real Estate, Hill and Crofts Blayney Real Estate, Kennedy Ready Estate, Ray White Emms Mooney and PR Masters Stephens and Co.

All blocks have access to NBN, underground power and sewage in close proximity to the town centre and are now sold.
