Winter Wonderland is coming up soon!

Can you feel the cold change coming? You know what that means, Blayney & Villages Winter Wonderland is almost here! Blayney Shire Council will once again create a calendar of events, activities and promotions of local Blayney Shire businesses.

Let's embrace the change of season, get together and encourage buying local to boost economic activity during a traditionally slower period.

This is an event that wouldn't be possible without your community involvement so start thinking about how you can get involved!
In previous years, community and school groups have had great success with fundraising events, such as community movie nights. There have been ‘Christmas in July’ dinners and dancing with lots of fun to the beat the winter blues. Villages may want to do a joint promotion or fundraiser.

You may choose to hold a pop-up shopping event, present a window display, competition, giveaways, offers, special meals/food, buy one get one free offers, discounted goods or services to coincide with the Winter Wonderland activities planned for 22 June – 21 July.
What we need from you for you:

  • Business/ Group name
  • Location
  • Special offer/ themed event details
  • Contact name and phone number
  • Attach an image/ logo related to your business for promotions
Let’s join together to encourage locals and visitors to chill out in Blayney & Villages this winter. A fabulous way to beat the winter blues with a #warmwelcome at some of the amazing activities being planned.
Join the buzz & share your plans on Facebook & Instagram #WinterWonderland #WarmWelcome
RSVP your interest in participating by Wednesday, 12 June with the above details.
Everyone welcome and there is no cost to get involved.
