Blayney Shire Council

Aged Care and Disability

Blayney Shire Council works to provide older members of our community and those people living with a disability with support services and programs,  improved access and useful information about relevant service providers and government agencies.

There are a range of different services for frail, older people and people with a disability and their carers, which are listed within our Community Directory. These services are aimed at supporting people to both continue living at home and accessing their community as independently as possible, thereby preventing inappropriate or premature placement into residential care. Services also include supporting carers in their caring role.

These support services include:

  • Respite Services
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Retirement Units
  • Retirement Villages
  • Home Visits
  • Community Health
  • Community Transport
  • Blayney Inter-agency Group
