Community Consultative Committees

In NSW, large State Significant Projects are often required to form a Community Consultative Committee (CCC).  A CCC is an independently chaired forum for a development proponent, community representatives, stakeholder groups and councils to discuss matters about the project. A CCC is not a decision-making or regulatory body but performs an advisory and consultative role. Council is represented on the Community Consultative Committees for Cadia Valley Operations, Flyers Creek Wind Farm and the McPhillamys Gold Project.  Further information about the operation of each of these committees and meeting minutes is available on following the links below.
