Council Tourism Mailing List: Council's Manager Tourism and Communications regularly passes on relevant information to tourism based businesses, sign up to be on the mailing list here.

Tourism Development Program: Blayney Shire Council has a Tourism Development Program which provides support to both not-for-profit entities and local businesses to host events, produce marketing projects and create tourist attractions aimed to promote and grow the visitor economy in the Blayney Shire.

Access Incentive Scheme: Blayney Shire Council offers an Access Incentive Scheme to assist in improving access compliance to local businesses and community organisations with premises in a Main Street and/or hospitality outlets prioritised. Read more about the program here.

Orange360 is a joint regional tourism initiative between Orange City Council, Blayney Shire Council and Cabonne Council.

It unites our people, places and produce that make our region unique. Most importantly it needs to include our local tourism operators so you may benefit from the 1.3 million visitors to the Orange Region annually who spend over $300 million a year. Service NSW: Easy to do Business Program

The Service NSW Business Bureau provides personalised support for businesses, in one convenient place

Business owners can save time, make confident decisions and access the right support from across the NSW Government – all from a single point of contact.

Business Bureau teams are based in communities across NSW, providing in-person support with a deep understanding of the unique challenges local businesses face

The Business Bureau offers tailored, one-on-one support to help businesses access government programs and services, comply with regulations, and explore opportunities to grow, including exporting and selling to government.

 Business owners can also build their skills with videos and other online resources on topics such as business planning, marketing and cash flow – a simple way to learn, improve and make day-to-day decisions with more confidence.

NSW First Program: Destination NSW delivers the NSW First program to assist tourism businesses around the State to develop, promote and sell their tourism products. It includes face to face workshops and online webcasts that offer ‘how-to’ insights on a range of topics for the tourism industry, with events to be added to the calendar throughout the year.

Website Listing: Tourism related businesses can be listed on the visitnsw.com website for free through the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse as a way to promote their business or event. This also feeds into a number of other websites.

 Destination-Central-West

Destination Central West NSW (DNCW) 

Destination Central West NSW (DNCW) is one of seven Destination Networks (DNs) in regional NSW, established by the NSW Government to improve regional stakeholder engagement and better support the visitor economy of regional NSW.

Their principal role is to represent and coordinate the growth and development of the visitor economy within these LGAs. They do this by delivering regional funding and industry development programs and identifying infrastructure needs and investment opportunities in partnership with government agencies, tourism organisations, and operators, guided by the Central West NSW Destination Management Plan 2022-2030 (DMP).
