Blayney Local Family History Group

In 1992, a small group of dedicated volunteers, concerned that no archive of local historical records existed which covered the entire Blayney Shire area, joined together to promote the collection and preservation of local information, records and material.

Their secondary aim was to encourage and promote interest in local and family history research. Thus began the Blayney Shire Local and Family History Group Inc.

Since its formation, the group has been active in building a valuable local genealogical and historic record centre which is located at the Blayney Library, 48 Adelaide Street, Blayney

Meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of the Month, Blayney Shire Community Centre, February to November, 10am - 12pm, all welcome.
