Sporting Fields
The Blayney Shire boasts a number of sporting facilities including a Sport & Leisure Centre and a number of grounds for Athletics, Cricket, Netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football (Soccer), Tennis, Touch Football, Equestrian and Harness Racing. Blayney's recreational facilities are well known throughout the shire and beyond.
Ovals and sports grounds under Council's control and available for hire are as follows:
- Dakers Oval, Blayney
- King George Oval, Blayney
- Blayney Showground, Blayney
- Napier Oval, Blayney - Field 1 Closed
- Redmond Oval, Millthorpe
- Lyndhurst Sportsground, Lyndhurst
- Carcoar Sportsground, Carcoar
- Newbridge Showground, Newbridge
Council's process for casual and seasonal hire of its sporting facilities.
Sporting Groups and schools should complete the applicable form below and return it to Council. Once approved Council will issue a license agreement for the hire.

All activities on Council facilities, including sporting grounds, are required to be covered by Public Liability Insurance.
