Halls and Community Facilities
Blayney Shire has 14 multipurpose community halls and centres, varying from historical weatherboard community halls established many years ago, to the newly constructed, environmentally friendly Blayney Community Centre (opened June 2012).
Each facility varies in the size and amenities and many are available for hire, having access to tables, chairs and kitchen facilities and are able to cater for a diverse range of both community and private functions. These centres provide community members with an opportunity and place to create, celebrate, learn new skills, access information and most importantly, meet and socialise, in their own local community.
Community Halls and Centres owned by Council are available for hire on a casual or regular basis at very affordable rates and Applications to Hire may be submitted on-line. Please refer to Council's Terms and Conditions of Hire when making bookings.
All activities using Council facilities, including Community Halls, are required to be covered by Public Liability Insurance to a value of not less than $10 million. Council can assist with the provision of “Casual Hirers” public liability insurance for non-incorporated groups and individuals to protect against public liability claims.
For further information contact Council or apply on-line to hire one of Council's facilities.
