SITSS00069 FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISION SKILL SET
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In this course you will learn about:
• Following hygienic procedures and reporting health issues.
• Preventing food contamination and identifying food hazards.
• Following food safety program, and to prepare, store and dispose of food safely.
• Maintaining a clean environment and providing safe single use items.
CERTIFICATION
On successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment in:
• SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety
• SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices.
This forms SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervision Skill Set. You are then eligible for the NSW Food Authority Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
THE FINE PRINT
You must be currently employed in the hospitality industry as workplace evidence is required to be submitted for assessment. You must attend the entire day of training.
BOOKINGS
The sessions for over 18s are free of charge, there may be a fee for Under 18s as Blayney A&P Association have some grant funding.
