Asbestos is a naturally occurring fibrous silicate mineral. It becomes a health risk when asbestos fibres are released into the air and breathed in.
Food Safety
Council employs staff who specialise in environmental health activities to carry out a broad range of inspections from an educational and enforcement perspective. The primary aim of these inspections is to ensure that food sold is safe to consume.
Health, Home and Community Care
Residents of Blayney Shire have convenient access to a full range of comprehensive health & community services, including medical centres, hospital, disability and numerous allied health services.
