Councillor Reynolds elected as Blayney Shire Mayor
Councillor Bruce Reynolds has been elected Blayney Shire’s new Mayor for the next two years, and Councillor Rebecca Scott has been elected Deputy Mayor.
Mayor Reynolds was first elected to Council in 2017, and this is his third term on Council. This term is Deputy Mayor Scott’s first term on Council.
This week’s Extraordinary Council meeting saw Councillors take their oath/affirmation following the Local Government Elections on 14 September 2024. The Councillors elected for Blayney Shire Council are:
Councillors Craig Gosewisch and John Newstead were elected as representatives for Central Tablelands Water County Council.
Councillors Iris Dorsett and Michelle Pryse Jones were elected as representatives for Central Tablelands Weeds Authority.
The next Ordinary Council Meeting will be held at 6pm on Tuesday 22 October 2024.
